The Fragrances I’m bringing to 2019

I am not a big fragrance collector, when I find one that I like I just stick to it and that’s it but last year I got to try a few and there are three of them that I absolutely adored and that I will continue using during 2019. Specially one of them and you will soon find out why.

I love delicate fragrances and I am not a fan of anything with a sweet or very strong scent. I guess subtle is the key word for me to love a fragrance, specially during the spring and summer months. During winter time, I like something a bit “heavier” with a deeper scent. I always find very difficult to describe scents so I guess that the best will definitely be for you to go and try it for yourself to see if it’s your kind of thing.

First, Daisy Eau so Fresh Kiss by Marc Jacobs. I spoke about this little guy here. I initially bought it in 2017 and it is still one of my favourite fragrances on a nice, fresh summer day.  It is delicate and floral without being too sweet. Yet, I can seem to find it online but I’ve seen it in store a couple of times.

The next Spring/Summer fragrance is Jimmy Choo, L’Eau. This little one has a special place in my heart. It was the one I bought specially to wear on my wedding day. Apart from testing it in store, the first time I used it was on my wedding day so every time I scent it, it just brings back so many memories! Again, it is a fruity and floral scent that isn’t too sweet that will make you feel a bit sick. It’s just perfect, delicate, feminine and smells delicious.

Finally, Black Opium by YSL. I’ve loved this perfume even before I had it. I would always put some on when in store but for some reason I was waiting for my other half to gift it to me and , guess what? He finally did haha. I bloody love this perfume. Before, I didn’t quite get the idea of having a perfume for each season but this one definitely made me change my mind and is the one I will use during winter months. It is stronger than the other two but also has a floral scent with a note of black coffee and I guess that’s what makes it have such a unique smell (it definitely has a lot more stuff in it but I am not going to sit here and pretend that I know this stuff).

What’s your favourite fragrance at the moment? Would love to know and add some to my wish list!
