What I Am Loving | November Favourites

November is one of my favourite months of the year not only because it is my birthday month but it is also the month where it all starts to remind me of Christmas – the tree, the decorations, the cozy afternoon wrapped in a blanket with the Christmas tree lights on. Oh, it is all so amazing! Yes, I put my Christmas tree up in the last week of November and I love it.

I was really spoiled on my birthday so I  have to say that this is more a “What I got for my Birthday” combined with other two or three things that I bought myself but oh, well.. let’s just roll with it.

I have the best fiancé ever that always surprises me with the best gifts (I wish I was as good as he is with presents) and for my birthday he gave me not only a beautiful bouquet of white roses (Instagram picture here) but also the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Instant Camera. I’ve been wanting a Polaroid camera for ages and this was such a good surprise. I just love how raw the photos are so this has to be my top favourite of this month! Can’t wait to use it even more.

The Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette has been on my wish list for ages. I love the warm tones, they are always my go to shadows and I knew I was going to get a lot of use out of this. I was waiting for a Black Friday deal to get my hands on it but I was luckily surprised by my best friends with this as a birthday present.

This packaging is to die for and I love, absolutely love all the shades. With a mix of mattes and shimmers, you have many options to choose from.

The matte eye shadows are so, so pigmented and creamy. They blend like butter. The shimmer ones need a bit of a help with a wet brush and they are stunning!

You can create so many different looks with this palette.

I know I’ll get a lot of use out of this palette. My next mission is to create a beautiful only matte warm tone look so stay tune to my Instagram for one or two photos over the next few days. Let me know if you would like a mini tutorial here on the blog with this palette!

They have also gifted me with the most beautiful River Island Beige Cross Body Bag and I can tell you that I will wear this non stop. I have it in the color nude and so it goes with absolutely everything! It is a great statement bag if you are wearing a very simple outfit. I am absolutely in love with it! They know me so well!

Zara is one of my favourite high street shops. I go crazy when I go to one and need to control myself not to buy everything I like. Last time I went to Madeira I bought a few little things that I have been loving and one of them are these beautiful long faux pearl earrings. They are such a statement!

And last but not least, the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation. As you know I will be getting married next year and I have been trying to find the one and only foundation as I will be doing my own makeup and let me tell you that this one has been winning the competition.

It is medium coverage that you can easily build by adding another layer of foundation. It is so light weight and it feels and looks like skin! I have been playing around with it and working with different concealers and powders to see how it would last and I have been enjoying it so far.

The only problem is that because I am a bit oily on my chin and mustache area, it kind of breaks and looks really bad but I have found a way to get around that problem – I mix it with my drugstore favourite, the L’oreal Infallible 24H Stay Foundation and it honestly looks just the same after 12 hours wear (I test it during my long days at the hospital haha).

If you want a full review on it, I will happily do it as I have a lot to say about this little one.
