This post might be full of chiché for all of you but being at this point of my life (engaged and more than happy!) made me feel like this is time for a recap, time to look back in life and what has happened this year and think of all the things I am thankful for.
It is so easy to drown in the bad/ruff moments of our life that, sometimes, the best way to get out of it is to have a little throwback and to remember all the good things that have already happened.
And even though I am not going to a bad moment (thankfully), this year has been such a surprise that I just wanted to sit and write about it so that I can always come back and smile.
Life has been pretty damn good this year. One of my biggest dreams has come true and things in general have just been going so well. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for that.
These past few years we have traveled to a few different places but this year we went to Rome and I fell in love with this city. Everything felt so unreal, specially when I went to Vatican City. I can’t even put it into words.
I can’t not mention this one here. I am just happy that everyone that I love is not having any massive health problems and is currently living their life the best they can. We take so many things for granted and I think that health might be one of them. We need to appreciate more that having good health is such a thing to be thankful for.
Well, what can I say? My biggest dream has come true – we are engaged. I can’t tell you how happy my heart is. I am starting to think that this might be the happiest times of my life and I know that there are many more to come.
I am just so thankful that I am going to marry my best friend!
My family is my treasure and I am glad I get to travel back home often to spend quality time with them. It is hard to see my little brother grow (he’s not so little, he’s 21) and almost finishing uni and not being there.
But I am just so proud and thankful to be part of such a beautiful, amazing family.
Since last year I have gotten closer to three of my friends and they are now like family. It is so good when we can be 100% ourselves around other people.
I am super happy to have them in my life!
This year as also been a year where I have applied for a Sister post for the first time and I got it. Success! Even thought it was just a four months position it was totally worth it as it has now extended for a few more months and there will be a permanent position coming soon that I will sure apply for and do my best to get it.
It has been very challenging but I absolutely love it and I am happy with the feedback that I am getting!
