A Beauty Bay Haul

Hi guys, long time no see!

After a three weeks break back at home with my family and another week getting back to my work routine, I am back to my blog stronger than ever.
The wedding is just around the corner (4 months away, I can't believe it!) and so I have started getting slightly more anxious and also deciding a lot of details like what makeup I am going to wear. If you don't know I will be doing my own makeup and so I really wanted to find something that I loved and that was simple but at the same time very glam.
I didn't want anything too complicated as I will probably be very nervous on the day and I don't want to mess it up so I finally found a makeup look that I absolutely love and that although it does include a wing liner, I am considering passing that so it just doesn't get too stressful. Let me know if you are interested in a post where I can share different bridal makeup looks for inspiration and I will definitely do it!
So because I have finally decided on what makeup look to wear, I have started buying a lot of new products to trial and I know that they will probably last until the wedding date. So opened Beauty Bay and this crazy purchase happened. I won't even tell you how much I have spent but you can do the maths for yourself.

Powder is a big thing for me specially when it comes to my wedding. I want to find the one that doesn't make my skin look cakey, dry or that gives any flashback so I bought the Cover Fx Perfect setting Powder in Light after watching one of Karima McKimmie's YouTube Video. I haven't tried it yet but I have high expectations.
I have also added the Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder in Medium after watching many reviews and hearing people say that this might be the best contouring powder in the world. The packaging is so beautiful I am already in love, let's hope the product doesn't disappoint!
As for blush, I got the Ofra Blush in the shade Raisin. To be honest, the color is quite dark and it scares me a bit but it was the blush used on the look that inspired me and so I just went with it! I think that using it with a light hand will be the key for a beautiful bronzed look as this isn't quite a pink or peach blush but we will see.
Finally, as for face powder products, I got the one and only Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy Highlighter. The highlighter everyone has been talking about had to be mine and I have no regrets - it is absolutely stunning.

For lips, I picked a brand and formula I have never tried before that, again, was used on the look I will be recreating. It has a beautiful peachy-rose undertone that I love and that I am hoping that suits my skin tone: the Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Bel Air.
The look is also created using a couple of individual eyeshadows that are quite unique and beautiful so of course I also had to get them. First, Birkin, by Anastasia Beverly Hills that is beautiful as a transition shade and then Americano by Makeup Geek to define the crease and outer corner.

I was never someone to love a full on matte look and that was never what I was looking for for my wedding makeup. I wanted something with a bit of shimmer for a nice, radiant glow and luminosity. I had something envisioned that I could never find until I came across the Dose of Colors Eyedeal Duo in the shade shell. It is a beautiful golden pink eyeshadow duo with loose pigment that looks absolutely stunning when applied and just like what I imagined. Can't wait to play with it!

I guess I was also in need of some new brushes, specially powder/bronzer and contour brush so I took this chance to order all that I needed and without even noticing, 6 new brushes were added to my basket. For powder or bronze application I got the Morphe M527. To contour, I chose the Morphe R5 and for eyeshadow brushes I got the Zoeva 317 to achieve the perfect wing, the Morphe M433 for an easy blend of my eyeshadows and finally the Makeup Geek Defined Crease Brush for a little more precision when applying eyeshadows to my crease.
I also had to get the Anastasia Beverly Hills A23 Illuminator Brush to apply my Amrezy highlight. Can't go wrong with that, right?
They all look amazing and nothing like the ones I already have which is a plus. I have always believed that good brushes are key for a beautiful look and so I wanted to make sure I had all I needed for this look.

And this was my very long and very much necessary beauty bay haul. All these purchases were worth it as I also got a gift bag full of goodies that i wasn't expecting for so if you are thinking on placing a massive order like this one on Beauty Bay, expect a surprise goodie back to cheer you up even more!

Now I only need to find the perfect concealer as it is the only product I still haven't chose for my wedding makeup. Any advice?
